My Story
“My life was crumbling until I defined my values. From then, I learned how to live with better principles, strategies, and tactics for a fulfilling life.”
I grew up in a fatherless home in East London, where limited opportunities shaped a young person’s future. Sport became my escape—I earned a basketball scholarship to the US, completed a Business Management degree, and won championships. But my real transformation came after graduation when I faced homelessness, hunger, and hardship in my final year in the US and upon returning to the UK.

My life was crumbling until I defined my values. From then, I learned how to live with better principles, strategies, and tactics for a fulfilling life.

During this period, I wrote a vision for the person I wanted to become. I studied character and values through prayer, reflection, and books, learning how boundaries rooted in true values lead to freedom. Seeing a lack of these values in my community was heart-breaking, and I felt compelled to share what I had learned. However, I realised that change happens when culture or conviction supports it—and the culture I saw was failing us. That’s when I decided to help shape a healthier culture for the next generation.
Returning to the UK, I worked with students from primary to university level, coaching and mentoring. I saw the same challenges teachers report—poor boundary-setting, emotional instability, and misalignment between school and home expectations. These struggles led to disengagement, conflict, and lost potential.

Knowing these issues are preventable, I founded Ailey to equip students with the skills I had to learn the hard way. Our approach—refined through experience, coaching, and pilots—focuses on boundaries, emotional intelligence, and respect. Through facilitated sessions and an AI-powered SaaS platform, we provide structured behaviour support that helps students, relieves teachers, and strengthens home-school alignment.

I am the right person to address this issue because I have lived it, taught it, and built a solution for it. By winning the hearts of children, parents, and teachers, Ailey can scale school by school and across generations. We will deliver our teaching through AI, future tech, and timeless methods like in-person sessions and books.
